Allweather Landscape was approached by a client based on a recommendation from their builder in 2019 to produce a landscape, design and construction proposal. The client wanted a space to spend their evenings with friends and family and to enjoy a private space in a small Downtown Toronto backyard. These active travelers were looking for an oasis at home, and due to the tight site conditions, access was an issue. With our specialized equipment and exceptional planning however, this was easily managed.
The front yard included a heated paver parking pad and heated stone veneer porch. The jet black granite and Unilock Umbriano pavers matched perfectly for this application. Due to the tight site conditions and a “clean lines” aesthetic which the client called for, some custom powder coated aluminum planters were placed in both the front and rear of the property. The backyard was enclosed by a stunning ship lapped Thermory Ash fence and gate which gave the yard a warm and private feel.
A simple but elegant landscape lighting system gives the yard a warm glow at night. A tall green beech hedge and “cool green and shady” planting scheme softens the yard nicely. The seasonal floral displays at the front and back were installed just in time for an at home wedding reception. This cozy backyard is perfect for spending time outdoors with friends and family, both during the day and at night.
“You guys did an amazing job. Really! Amazing how everything turned out – Thanks so much.”
